    If you look at a query plan for a simple correlated subquery like in the example, you'll see the query engine optimizes it and automatically treats in like an inner join. In any modern RDBMS, anyway.

    I just saw this thread and it's a complete FAIL.


    I mean.....I'm sure I'm not the ONLY person who thought this would be a legit cry for help, maybe because he was in trouble due to the storm's aftermath, a loved one is still missing, or something serious like that.



    I mean putting up a REQUEST for TECHNICAL HELP *HERE* where something like this really belongs in the Hangar, is pretty infuriating to many.

    (too bad some here are actually indulging this guy's thread and so-called "call for help". Good lord... )
