Sanchez keeps going to these off season camps as well.

Keeps on sucking down the road.

Yes. while he was a pro. Klein is doing this ahead of schedule and prepping for the draft. Shows great foresight.

This in addition to the Kyle Wilson Sucks thread really got me thinking about the Physical skill & talent versus brain argument.

That's the whole point of the Wonderlic test. Its why Ryan Leaf was a failure. He had physical skills but he was immature.

The early QB stats from the IND/ MIA game are enough to sicken me. Both QB's performing very well right now.

That's what I mean when I say the Jets are unlucky. In the years they had top picks the drafts were light.

And of course the Jets kicked the crap out of Indianapolis so Tannehill better have a good day.

That is, if he doesn't end up being the clone of Tebow. Tebow, with an arm, would be Rick Mirer....IMO.
Mirer was nothing like Tebow. Mirer had the tools but lacked intangibles, where Tebow is Mr. INTANGIBLES. Great leader, moxy, and does why it takes to win in crunch time. Mirer is more like Sanchez than Tebow IMO.

Not a college guru, but there dont seem to be too many "locks" out there this season anyhow.

The more i force myself to accept the cap implications of cutting Mark Sanchez, the more im forced to realize it probably wont happen..........which means the team more than likely will not draft a QB this year with the first pick....

Maybe the new Rookie Cap would change this hypothesis though.

Tab whirl has already done more vs. Colt than Sanchez did, and he's only played 30 minutes. Tannehill is twice the QB Sanchez is and he's only played 7 NFL games.

Yep, can't reach for a QB, just gotta take the best player available, preferably an OLB pass rusher.

I really hope you're not being serious.

Sanchez completed 65.8% of his passes his final year... OF COLLEGE. WTF does Klein's NCAA completion percentage have to do with Sanchez's NFL completion percentage? Klein is a slightly better Tebow at the pro level.

he's being compared to tim tebow cause he has 17 rushing TDs this year, on top of 12 passing TDs. he's gonna be a good one.
He's being compared to Tebow because they're both big physical run first spread option QBs who are extremely religous and great leaders who are projected by many to be TEs in the NFL.

You know, because they're extremely similar players.

Not slightly better. He's a much better thrower than Tebow is. His motion is more compact.

He's still a tight end in the NFL.

I've heard many times he's projected as a TE, and I don't have a college team I root for, I just root for big matchups and good games.

I like Klein as a college QB. He's a great college player and will win the Heisman this year.

He's just not an NFL QB. I'd rather have someone who is a better pure pocket passer. Would I be upset if the Jets took a flier on him in the third round ala Russell Wilson? Not at all.

But if we spend our first round pick on a guy like that I seriously don't know what I'll do.

That Jet West camp is all for show haha....how bad would he be if he didn't "organize" that?
