It's crazy how a man I never met or even know his name just brightened my day. That's awesome news. My prayers go out to him and every man, women, and child that are fighting the same battle. Godspeed.

He told me over the phone "Bri, we are Jets fans, we are as tough as they come. We overcome hard times and keep going. We don't give up and let go."

I love him like a brother, and Im confident he will fight this and win.
Thoughts and prayers for you and your friend.

Glad to hear that his recovery is underway. I myself have overcome a similar Cancer back in '91 when I was 31. I was diagnosed with non hodgekins lymphoma. The same thing Mario lemeiux had and recovered well from. I had to have a grapefruit sized tumor removed that was next to my heart via open heart surgery as if that wasn't enough but medicine nowadays is very good if you catch it early. The main thing for him is to stay positive and eat right with exercise. I am now training for my third half marathon! God Bless him!

I'm glad you were able to beat your illness!!!

Just curious - were you active when you were first diagnosed?
