“I did not blame Pete Carroll one bit,” Jets coach Rex Ryan said this week, “because if I had that young man as my quarterback, I’d say whatever it took to get the guy to stay with me. Deep down he knew he was ready.”
Are you freaking serious, Rex? What a blowhard.

Carroll claims that’s not the case, that he would’ve told Sanchez to go pro if he truly thought he was ready.

“I told Mark what I thought was the right thing to do for him,” Carroll said. “I talked to him just like he was my own son. He could have benefited from another year. It wasn’t that I was trying to keep him.”
I think Pete Carroll knew what he was talking about. But this part is even funnier:

Both teams like to use their running game to take the pressure off their young quarterbacks
How many years do you get as starting QB before you're not a "young quarterback"? 4 years? Hmmmph.

So to get to the point of this thread, here's my game prediction: The Jets will lose, but not by too much. Once again Sanchez will show flashes of brilliance and we'll be suckered into thinking that we're improving enough to win the next game .... which of course we'll lose.

That feel when you're really enjoying your NFL Sunday.....and then you realize your team is about to take the field in a few minutes.

    Feels bad, man.
