    Sparano or Schotty?

Who would you rather have at this point?

As much as it hurts to say this, I think I'd rather have Schotty. He doesn't have very much feel for the game, but Sparano has none whatsoever.

GFY Sparano, I'd call better plays than you.

    Needs a poll.

I think it is a worthy topic so long as everyone MUST choose one.

I pick Schotty. IMO Sparano is worse.

You have to do it when you make the thread. At this point I think you need a mod to do it.

I picked Scharty because at least his team can score 20 points a game.

Dude, I want Shotty as the HC. I wanted to fire Rex at the end of last season and promote Shotty to HC. I also wanted to cut Holmes and Sanchez . Now as Warfish so aptly put it,all 3 of those idiots and the moron OC Rex wanted will probably be back in 2013.

I never rated Shotty but I'd take him over Sparano.

I told folks when we made this hire he was worse than Schotty. Shotty wasn't the worst play caller ever ... sanchez made terrible reads and in his offense there are more option routes than with any other team. All that receivers running before the 1st down marker wasn't on him ... on NFL films he yelled at Keller for not going past it on a play everyone here killed Schotty for calling. In all actuality Schotty is 5x the play caller Sparano is. I begged for Todd Haley here and for us to throw the house at him ... he would not have put up with this and we needed a guy who can truly light a fire under these guys plus schematically can match up with anybody. Everyone here said "no no Haley is not good" ... LMAO ...

I think it's pretty clear that if Sanchez is your QB, then it doesn't really matter.

Sparano sucks but we dont know the full extent of his suckiness yet. He has absolutely no weapons to work with at all. Schottenheimer had weapons and still flat out sucked. Had no feel for the game whatsoever. They both suck, but in my book schotty sucks more because :

a: he had weapons to work with
b: he had many years to get better but it never came

Schotty had Pennington and Favre at qb; Holmes, Edwards, Cotch, Jones, Coles, Ferguson in his prime, Woody, Mangold, etc, etc. and we lasted through years of his incompetence. I'm not going back there.

Sparano has been a massive disappointment, true. But Schotty was the worst.

Sparano not even a question in my mind. His play calling is 100x better. Fact is Shotty hid Sanchez's short comings and just told him to do short no thrills passes all day. Kinda why it took us 5 years to figure out Sanchez was trash. You can blame Sparano for a lot of things but he at least runs what would be a PRO O. If you even put a average QB on this team we would move the ball at least. Shotty has a good QB right now and still scores less then we do.

Yeah but you got Winnie Cooper and Kevin Arnold in your avatar.

    That's winning right there.

Never thought I'd be yearning for Schotty over any offensive coordinator ever, let alone 10 weeks into the season.

I vote Schotty, can someone explain to why #63 is eligible on 70% of our plays. It seems like the Defense knows what's coming when #63 is eligible.

Sparano and I'm really surprised by the poll results. This group of offensive players is dismal on paper, so it's not a surprise that it's dismal on the field as well.

    +1

"Number 63 is an eligible receiver."

    Great... 2 yard run incoming!
