Let's be a little bit fair, Falcons ran into Giants and Packers last 2 years (SB winners) when those teams were playing their absolute best ball. Atlanta will eventually run into a playoff opponent that lays a stinker. Sometimes that is all it takes. Eli and the Giants have been the beneficiaries of that several times now.
Well that's interesting, because in a few threads the general consensus is that the Pats, who have by far the best point differential in the NFL, the best turnover ratio, and the best offense are going to get smoked when it comes playoff time. Because, ya know, their defense and stuff.
