It is not the press it is the people who think guys like Keller, Landry, and Moore all of the sudden will get top 5 money at their position. Really we don't have one above average FA IMO. Landry only looks great to us because we haven't even had an average S sense Rhodes left. I mean last year we where pining to get Pool back. lol

Doesn't belong on that list. Long is an excellent player.

It's a fair article. Both Landry and Bell are free agents, cannot be assumed back. Kiper watches more football than any of us believe possible. He is not always right on draft projections, but he has a good pulse on what NFL teams need

Howies little boy wasn't worth #2 overall. He is OK but not excellent.

he also says very early a lot of what a player turns out to be is how he is developed .... thats not always on Kiper.

Or the Cowboys who are an absolute mess up front (to be fair also due to personnel but still)...

Landry is playing well this year though. Sure, he got beat here and there deep but overall he has been a pretty menacing player for us both against the run and the pass. What I also like about him he is a vocal leader type, something we definitely need...

The team has played great defense for the entirety of the Ryan era until injuries and the lack of a pass rush diminished it this season.
Clearly Kiper doesn't actually watch the Jets.

Agreed, this is a guy who is personal friends with Accorsi and other coaches and people in personnel depts. To say he does not know football is ridiculous.
He might not be a great talent evaluator from a prospect perspective. But the guy knows football and talks to actual pro football people everyday, not just guys that played HS and some div 3 like on this board.

He is speaking of the talent on the team signed for next year. To think that Bell should be upgraded is obvious. Landry should be playing SS if the jets can lure him back.

The jets had problems last year on the oline but a lot of that was attributed to Wayne Hunter, Moore's back injury and Mangold missing games.

He has the same take that most of the posters on this board has.

It might not be hell but it is plenty warm.

Kiper is a big Ravens fan, and is a fan of Rex's by extension.

    1: WR

    2.5: RB

Later rounds: OL, RB, FS, TE

This team is not as broken as most people think. I'd consider even using two of the first three picks on WR.
you forgot QB & RB so I inserted for you

Funny how purported experts don't write articles like this until the problems have been obvious for OVER A YEAR.

Typical hindsight B.S. Several blue collar AND white collar posters on here could have written that same article last season.
