Oh God i hope not. Does anyone on this board/site think Rex might say, " Heck Mark gives us the best chance to win" ?

Sure he can, under a couple of different strains of "logic".

"I still think Mark gives us the best chance to win".

Or, "Mark looked better throwing the ball in practice"

Or, "Mark had a bad day, it happens."

Or, "Mark came in this week and showed a renewed sense of fire/commitment".

    Just to list a few.

I think he'd be putting himself in a position to get fired if MS su*ked again...which we all know is more than likely. Start GMAC and if he is god awful let MS back in.

The team played with an energy and fire under McElroy that we haven't seen in nearly 3 seasons.

Just because Rex starts Sanchez doesn't mean he has to give him more than 1 or 2 series at QB.

Have Sanchez split reps this week with whichever QB will suit up as the #2 and then put him on an extremely short leash.

I hope he does. Don't want McElroy anywhere near the field next week.

    4 wins in 11 games, 12 Tds, 13 INT's, 10 fumbles, mid 50%...

How much worse can McElroy really be???

Um, no. No Tebow, no Sanchez. (I hope). This team doesn't need a great QB, it needs a game manager.

Rex is in love with Sanchez. Only reason he made this move is because he knew the media would be all over him for sticking with him. Knowing they face a much easier defense his lover Sanchez will be right back on the field.

This should now be McElroy's job to lose now. Rex would be nuts to go back to Sanchez as the starter this season until at least we see any drop off from Greg. He should name McElroy starter for snaps this week in practice ASAP... But..as we know Rex does surprise and defy logic sometimes...

We all know Rex is a moron *but* we'd like to think that even a Moron can't ignore the OBVIOUS when it's shoved in his face....

The OBVIOUS being that McElroy MUST start the rest of the year, PERIOD.

I hope you are right but again Rex (as his father was )can be quite the stubborn individual. Its important that McElroy be named starter immediately so he can practice as starter all week.

No way suckchez starts next week. It will be up to GMAC to keep suckchez on the bench. If GMAC totally craps the bed, however, he will be on a short leash and suckchez will be back.
