"We have 3 starting quarterbacks, so we're probably in a better situation than a lot of teams."

b/c then he could have benched sanchez a week sooner w/o having to answer if he should have put tebow in.

I must have missed the "all three" part. That truly is disturbing.

Idiot is boasting about his defense and Cromartie. THE CARDS PLAYED WITHOUT A QB YOU IDIOT.
He was doing that in presser after the game yesterday too....

It wasn't like guys weren't open - that was probably the most inept QB performance I've ever seen.

He shouldn't be boasting about anything coming out of that game other than that he finally had the balz to put Sanchez on the bench...

you have to read between the lines here. what rex is really saying is, if you take sanchez's athleticism, tebow's heart and mcelroy's smarts, you have 1 whole qb.

    they're....off to see the wizard.....

Rex said he wasn't the one to tell Sanchez of benching bc Sparano told him 1st & #Jets were on def. Said Sanchez knew where message was from

Rex saying he isn't leaning 1 QB or another: "I want it to be an open discussion. I don't want to say there's a way I'm definitely leaning"

    Wow. Just wow.

I'm confused. Does that mean that the benching came from Sparano or Rex?

He was saying, he was busy with the defense going on the field right away that he didn't get the chance to tell Sanchez first.
Probably told Sparano and he told him first.

Rex benched Sanchez. Sparano was the one to tell Sanchez because Rex was coaching the defense at the time.

Rex made the decision and told Sparano who then told Sanchez. Sparano needs to be the first to know for gameplanning reasons. In the heat of the game, there isn't time for players to get a sit down with the coach.

From Sanchez' post game conference, he seemed a little annoyed, but understood.

    As an aside:

    Jeff McLane @Jeff_McLane
Reid: I'm going to name Nick Foles as starter for rest of season.
