He HAS to go after this season.
    I actually don't think that's possible.

He knows - but his and Tanny's asses are tied to Sanchez success and that contract extension.

This isn't about football. It's about his own his own job security.

    Fights?

He is the weakest minded/hearted QB i have ever seen.

Why I agree it is the wrong move, I think the locker room will be behind Sanchez.

What's our next home game? THAT'S going to be the tough one for Mark because the fan base will have him on an even shorter leash than Rex

STILL ALIVE FOR THE PLAYOFFS? WHAT THE **** PLANET ARE YOU ON? CHRIST HAL!

Forget the playoffs. Do you really think if mcelroy galvanized the team and we won out and he played pretty well, that wouldnt be equally as important to save Rexs job?

This decision is based on one thing and one thing only.....stubborn loyalty to underperforming players. Thats it and that is why this better be the last 4 games this fat POS coaches on our sideline

For everyone saying bye Rex. If you feel 100% decision was made by Rex your ridiculous. From Woody down, they all had say on who the starting QB would be.

We are being held hostage by those two buffoons trying to save their jobs.

Sanchez is done. Get over it. The fans have lost faith in him and will not be silenced.

    CLEAN HOUSE!!!

Do you believe if Sanchez's contract wasn't guaranteed next year that he would still be the starter?

I think he likely would have been benched weeks ago.

As of now, Rex Ryan hasn't announced anything to tm, per 1 player, but as @AdamSchefter reported, RR "almost certain" to go Sanchez. #Jets

**** YOU, REX. FIRE THIS IDIOT.

Hope Cantchez throws 5 damn picks and gets benched again. Then, I hope Woody walks into Rex's post-game presser and fires him on the spot.

    Fire yourself!

Rooting for a player to suck is about as pathetic and lame as it gets.

    Fraud fan!

Only because they are professionals. This team has been utterly lifeless the past few games with Sanchez. Changing the QB actually gave them life on Sunday.
