    Go figure.
Or if it were the Jets, then you would say it was the GM or HC looking for a scape goat.

Absolutely it's partly Rex's decision to have that QB, but his job is to be the coach and not as much get the talent.
    Some would.

The clueless, who are incapable of thought, just scream for the HC to be let go.

First they cry about the lack of talent, then want the HC fired. Makes sense right? Too stupid to think and realize with not much better talent he took this team to back to back AFCCGs. Talent falls off and its just so much easier to scream for the HCs head.

Ive posted this before. If rex should stay and get a pat on the back for getting this team, devoid of talent, to 8-8, then please tell us what Rex does well as a HC.

Roster management/playing time allocations? Bart Scott, Eric Smith, Shonne Greene and mike devito all have younger, faster, more talented players behind them who either rarely play (demario) or have just started to play regualry in week 12-14 in Powell and Coples. Is that good?

Accountability? Sanchez is still the starter even though he has more INTs then TDs and had his 7th fumble yesterday.

In game management of challenges, time outs and the clock? Again yesterday we had to burn a TO, with a lead, as we didnt have the correct personnel on the field. That has been a common problem throughout Rexs time here.

    Lockerroom Cohesivness?
Anonymous quotes, Oline coach throwing higher-ups under the bus, Santonio-Sanchez feud, Sal Alosi tripping incident, etc.

Coaching Staff management? Our OC is atrocious and runs the most conservative offense in history. Yes, we have minimal talent at WR but then we need to be getting creative, running screens, misdirections, etc. We have not changed at all this season.

Xs and Os? Great defensive mind, no knowledge of offense whatsoever.

Coaches get too much credit and too much blame, but we all here have watched quite a bit of Rex to see that while he has playoff wins, he also is below average at pretty much everything a HC needs to do, other then scheme defensively.

Are you going to tell me that Schotty wasn't a scapegoat? The offense is worse and Sanchez is a mess.

How bout Mangini? He wasn't sacrificed to bring in a loudmouth salesman to sell hope and PSLs and take some back pages from the Giants?

Come out from under the rock. I'm not saying these guys didn't deserve to get fired but someone is always a scapegoat. The NFL is a dog eat dog business.

Does the name Brian Schottenheimer mean anything to you?

And yes Sparano is better than Brian, proven when we played the Rams.

Not that cam is any good, but we could really use some imagination injected into our offense.
You do realize that Cam Cameron taught Schitty everything he knows, right?

Schitty was QB coach under Cameron in SD.

If you're going to tell me that the jets have equal talent on O this season as compared to when Shotty was here then you can go back to stroking yourself.

    As usual you come through.

Balt was smart for recognizing a problem and letting Cam go.

The jets were looking for scapegoats when letting Shotty go.

And Mangini was let go to get a loudmouth HC? Really? LOL, as if anyone, anywhere knew Rex was even loud? Or that any idiot could clearly see if your HC is loud PSL sales would go through the roof. Or better yet, a untried HC would take the back pages away from the Giants.

Your problem is you assume that its all about PSLs or the Giants and then work backwards. I can make any move lead back that way if I want to.

You are too easy. You look for the bad in every move, you'll find it.

Ugh, I would say he learned more from his father. They're similar in approach. Nothing like Cam

If Rex was fired as HC he would have 3 defensive coordinator interviews lined up before he even walked out of the Jets complex.

Who in their right mind would want to coach the Jets? The Qb sucks a bunch of noname receivers and an o-line that is mediocre. GM that sucks!

Uh, yes it does. And even he's better than Cam.

Some of you guys must not be familiar with Cam Cameron.

Only a guy like him could have an elite back and still find ways to underutilize him, especially in crucial moments of games.

According to who. U do realize that the guy u want to protect told the world at the start of the season that this Jet team was "The most talented team he has had since taking over the team" , right ?

Wrecks is a fraud and IMHO, the worst HC this team has had since Rich Kotite. Even Joe Walton had the Jets playing at a high level before injuries sabotaged the season.

Wrecks Ryan led the Jets to 2 AFC Championship games
Mark Sanchez led the Jets to to AFC championship games.

Brian Schottenheimer who was the offensive coordinator on both teams had nothing to do with any of it. He's a moron and the problem.

Yet if they don't play hard that's on Rex??

You can hang on the words of a presser, not understanding what he's doing and ignore the success he's had.

He's had more success than any HC here not named Weeb.

Joe Walton? Sure, his problem was injuries, LOL, you've got to be kidding.

I didn't say that. I said he had a great season that was ruined due to injuries. U know just like Wrecks had 2 good seasons. Didn't Rick Kotite had a 10 win season as HC of the Eagles once also.

The job of the HC is to coach the team and oversee the development of those placed under his charge. In this endeavor, this HC has failed miserably.
