I imagine 3 or 4 will be with us next year.

Keep the 'ards'. If you keep 3 then add Rue.
I thought Gilyard would perform better at the pro level. He may still step up.

Reuland and Hilliard should be back no questions asked. Gilyard I imagine will be tested in the final three games as to whether he is given a one-year contract in the off-season to compete for a roster spot in 2013. Aaron Berry was really worthless. I just don't think he fits with what we do here.

I guess you didn't notice that Hilliard has been a strong lead blocker when he's in the game, a huge upgrade over Rex's bust Connor. Rex stayed with Connor too long.

Ok, so dump a dependable Hilliard for another question mark....That's a good plan. You keep the guy unless you sign an obvious upgrade, you don't just let him go, unless you want Connor or someone worse coming in. Then we're right back where we started.

I liked what I saw from Gates, I think he has a chance.

Gilyard has 3 games, he flashed a little last week, will probably be a bigger part of the game plan this week.

    Berry, meh

    Reuland, real solid find, stays.

Hilliard, I'm indifferent. I honestly would like to see the team bring back Connor in the off-season and continue to try and develop him, but we'll see. Hilliard has done a solid job.

The punter, Malone, was a real nice find, have to think he's coming back.

    Austin Howard and Malone

Everyone else can go flip burgers next season. No need to keep the warm and fuzzies for guys that are taking roster spots for better talent you can find in the draft

gilyard keeper to return kicks and punts.

    gates goner jag.

    both smiths gone.

    pace gone.

scott if he restructures maybe he stays.

hilliard on the cheap or gone.

    keller returns.

berry wants to start but not many teams want his services might stay.

thomas gone age finally catches up with him.

I agree with most of your post, however, I think Gates is back next season. He has tremendous speed and is a potential game breaker, but is very raw. The Dolphins drafted him in the 4th round in 2011 and were hoping to sneak him on to the Practice squad this season. At the very least I think he will be invited back to Training Camp.

Most of our good finds will still be under contract next year with one or 2 exceptions.

Adams, Harris, Dowtin, Reuland, Malone, and McIntyre will all be on the team next year cheap in some way. Maybe Gilyard as well but Adams is a better WR.

Hillard and Howard are the only two iffs. I think we tenure Howard and give him a 3 year deal at like 1.3 mil a year. He has been OK but not really starter quality. Hillard I can see us bringing back as well. He is 100x better then Conner for what that is worth. Give him a raise offer him 600k at 2 years hope no one bids more.

Malone has been a huge upgrade at Punter. I fully expect him back next year.

Austin Howard has done a credible job at tackle and should be on the team next season.

+1. And lets not act like they unearthed a "gem" or a "steal".
