So where does Alex Smith land

There isn't any way the 49'ers are going to keep Smith as he is due a big check next year. Where will he land ? I believe the Ravens could try and go after him as Flaco is a free agent next year and as much as he would an upgrade from Sanchez the Jets would not be able to afford him along with the other changes that need to be made.

Flacco, Smith, Sanchez...... Different last names, same horrible INT's.

Smith avoids the INTs for the most part. He is not a very good downfield passer though and is the very definition of game manager. He's an upgrade over Sanchez, although I think the fanbase would dislike him.

Sorry, we don't need a game manager. We finally need a real QB.

Alex Smith can do something with a dominant defense. So can Mark Sanchez as we saw earlier in his career.

    Who cares?

The only, and I mean ONLY, retread that might become available that I would want in NY is Tony Romo. No Rivers, Flacco, Smith, Orton, McCoy, or any other name you can think of. If they want to try a Matt Flynn or Kirk Cousins, I will be skeptical but they might be able to sell me on the idea.

Sign me up for Alex Smith to the Jets- I'm the only one.

Hopefully with the Jets. Alex Smith proved he was a good QB over the last couple of seasons. Him coming into camp would spell the end of the Sanchez experiment gone wrong.

And the end of the Tebone experiment- trading for mediocre, overrated players just to sell tickets and not using them.
