Vick is most likely the best and most realistic veteran that we can bring in.

    No competent owner would.

I'm surprised you support Vick. He is so washed up, and will turn the ball over just as much as Sanchez.

By all accounts, Polian is a big fan of Rex.

He turns the ball over as much as Sanchez but can never be free of injuries to play more than 12 games a yr.

    Big no to Vick.

McElroy, a high draft pick, plus a cheap vet like a Matt Moore or Colt McCoy is the way ahead for 2013.

Vick is not good, but bigger than that he has taken 4 weeks to recover from his last concussion. No way he could last a season, and when Aikman was in a similar situation his doctors implored him to retire.

At this point, I'd be willing to sit through terrible football if it meant ridding the Jets of their current regime.

THAT is what I want to see Woody make happen!

    Dream Team 2013!

But seriously, it's not a bad plan. Except for Polian. I don't think I would mind Vick as long as we draft a QB to go along with him and McElroy. Just can't overpay for Vick. And besides, Vick will play a couple games probably get hurt, then the rookie steps in to take over.

    Based on what?

He built 3 different teams into Superbowl contenders.

He didn't earn the nickname "The Architect" for nothing.

You want a "stop-gap" for a year or two, meaning we acknowledge the Jets aren't going anywhere for that period of time. Then why pull up the clown car yet again and continue the circus, this time with Vick in the center ring? Favre and Tebow weren't enough? We can finish out of the postseason with or without the likes of the dog murderer, who would be savaged in his own right by the NY media and be nothing but another distraction to this team. No thanks.

I wonder if Polian's best days are decades behind him. Were the Colts really all that great, or was it all Peyton? Sure, Polian picked Peyton - but who wouldn't have?
