Who is surprised that Mcelroy is kicking ass ?

I knew he could move the ball. I could really kill Rex right now.

He is really what the Jets wanted Sanchez to be. Make the plays that are there to be made and don't make mistakes. If Sanchez would have done that we would be 8-6 or 9-5 right now. I think the 2 scoring drives is what Rex envisioned this team being this year but that couldn't happen with Captain Turnover at the helm.

He's 3/5 for 50, 40 of which came on 2 designed screen plays. He looks exactly like Sanchez minus the turnovers. Indecisive and takes alot of sacks.

Difference is this is his first NFL start not his fourth complete season

Actually the one sack he just took that he pumped first well he pumped the ball instead of throwing it b/c the guy was well covered. So instead of throwing a pick, ala Sanchez, he took the sack and lived to play another down. I know it's startling b/c we're not used to that from Sanchez. He just sh*ts his pants and either fumbles on contact or throws it into triple coverage.

Oh absolutely. I'm just not ready to call what he's doing "kicking ass".

Me neither. I'm not even sure he will be here next year but this is somewhat refreshing to see

Compared to Sanchez. The only bad thing that can come from this is that Sparano may stay.

Sanchez would have been sacked at least 10 times by now along with two INT's and a couple of strip sacks.

Kicking ass? He's having the same issues mark has had all year. None of his recievers are open, only thing he's doing better is feeling the pressure and taking off with the ball, taking a sack and protecting the ball.

Not like any of those three things are super important

They are important, but to say he's kicking ass is rediculos.

His arm is terrible. Not a starter, no chance
