Wilkerson and Coples again both had spectacular games... it is rare to see two DL players as big as them get as much pressure...

Wilkerson is playing fantastic this season and Coples is starting to come into his own.

But it did hurt to see Chandler Jones make a big play on the last play of the Patriots/Jags game.

Wilkerson is living up to his first round billing. Looks like a 10 yr player.

Coples is improving. Not going to call him a HR yet bc it is too soon but he is at least going to be a starter for us for the entire length of his contract.

Dunbar has done a good job with them.

Coples had a big play against them just two weeks ago. Got into Henne's face and forced the game ending interception.

Again, even if it sounds like looking for slight positives, these two guys truly have the potential to be a special combination for years...

Was it just me or did Coples get less snaps in the 4q? Thought he was awesome in the first half and then didnt see him (and unfortunately saw a lot of the ironically named Pace) as the Chargers went on their run.

That's because the Chargers were running the ball with the lead. Coaches said recently he has made strides in defending the run but he is not quite there yet. Shouldn't be a problem next season though...

but Rex and Tannenbaum don't know how to draft!

    Must have been Mangini picks.

Wilkerson is turning toward JPP level with the constant pressure while getting doubled teamed, batted down passes, and etc. Coples looks like a great pick so far too.

But Ray Lucas said we should've drafted Melvin Ingram and Adam Schien said this was a Rex Ryan ego pick...and would be Vernon Gholston 2.0

    FIXED.

He's been horrendously frustrating as a CB, but you can't deny his speed and quickness to keep up with WRs. His only issue is he NEVER TURNS HIS F@#$ING HEAD!

Humble opinion & Solution: Move him to safety where the play develops in front of him and let his ballhawk skills apply there where he can see the ball the entire time since it's IN FRONT OF HIM instead of him turning around and getting BURNT or a PI flag.

Watching Russell Wilson this season (including tonight), I don't feel very good about taking Quinton Coples at #16. We blew it on a far better player. 3 times.

After Coples was picked, the talking heads on ESPN were ripping on the pick. Mangini, however, said that Rex knew how to pick DL. He was right.

I was a fan of the pick. Some guys just have a natural ability to get into the backfield. He's one of them. He's also a tough, strong ****er. You don't see him getting handled by OL that are 30lbs heavier than him.

Hindsight is 20/20. Coples is going to be a great player.

We killed TebowPN for at least one season. He will be a jaguar next season and we will go back to the TebowPN 24/7.
