Hopefully that TD locks up our top 10 pick.

YES!!!! Don't put Tebow in, he pay pull a horseshoe out of his ...

BTW, even Fitzpatrick has surpassed Sanchez at this point. I think Sanchez is a good kid, but at this rate, he may be out of the league in 2014.

But, as far as the salary cap goes, ALL the remaining guaranteed money hits the cap of the team that trades the player away.

For the Jets, that would be a $17 million cap hit.

From a fan's perspective, I don't care who writes the actual check.
You're are right about his bonus money accelerating to the cap in 2013 and that is roughly $8 million. If they trade him the other team takes on all of his guaranteed salary, which is $8.25 million. That means the Jets would take the cap hit for the bonus money only. It would save the Jets $8 million or so if they could trade him. Or they could take half of the guaranteed salary in 2013 and make it a bonus thus lowering his salary and increasing the chances of him getting traded. Then he would be the same cap hit next year he already is, around $13 million. The Jets will only have to pay him $17 million if he gets cut before June 1st.

on the bright side if tennessee/carolina/tampa can all hold their leads the jets will have pick #8 in the draft

its horrible to think but buffalo should be able to score at least two more times...

if this wont make woody clean house from top to bottom the franchise is lost for sure for the next five years....
