Seven NFL HCs were fired Monday, more than the amount of HCs fired on the Monday after the regular season in the last 3 seasons combined.

Five NFL general managers were fired Monday. Only four GMs were fired on the Monday after the regular season from 2007-11 combined.

2 GMs (Kansas City's Scott Pioli and Buffalo's Buddy Nix) and 2 coaches (Jacksonville's Mike Mularkey and Carolina's Ron Rivera) in limbo.

The Jets, who pride themselves on "transparency," were the only NFL team not to make their head coach available to the media yesterday. #nyj

Now, of the 10 teams looking for either a coach, GM or both, only three have any real stability at QB -- Chicago, San Diego and Carolina.

Jaguars owner Shahid Khan is wasting no time in his search for a new General Manager.

According to Jay Glazer of FOX, Khan interviewed Falcons director of player personnel Dave Caldwell on Monday, the same day Khan fired Gene Smith.

Per Glazer, the Chargers and the Jets also have requested permission to interview Caldwell, the top lieutenant to Falcons G.M. Thomas Dimitroff. Caldwell was promoted to his current job after Les Snead was hired as G.M. of the Rams.

The Jaguars’ next G.M. will be charged initially with determining the fate of coach Mike Mularkey, who worked for the Falcons before being hired in 2012 to coach the Jaguars. Looming over both decisions is the question of whether Khan will push for the Jets to acquire quarterback Tim Tebow.
