I LOL'd at Manish needing a press conference and some soundbites to write a story. What happened to his imaginary friend Deep Throat?
It's a rule set in place so that each team is communicating with local markets. Basically for the Bellichek types. It keeps the NFL in the national spotlight and local papers.

That said, the Jets hold more presses and con calls with media than are actually mandated.

Cimini was on NFL Radio this morning blabbing about how the failure of the Jets to hold this press conference this week was "inexcusable" and a "terrible disservice" to the the fan base.

Fvck-face should look in the mirror and think about his own actions.

They'll give Woody such a pinch!

Richard Cimini speaks with iron(y) tongue.

I cannot believe Rich published that comment; what a low thing to do. The bloggers have to come to the rescue - fan backlash.

He's playing the "we do it all for you" card to the fans. Bullcrap. Like he doesn't make a living at this? That's what he's p.o.d about, like the other pencil necked beat writing geeks.

What a load of horsesh!t. If anything this has rallied much of the fanbase to the Jets' defense.

The only people the Jets have inconvenienced by not holding a presser is the media itself. The fans are merely waiting to hear about the new GM. And we're waiting, patiently.

What a tool. He's living in an alternate universe if he thinks many fans care about this issue. He and his buddies in the pool FEEL put out because they can't spin more of Rex's words and have a new circus themed back page to roll out. FcUk Manish and Cimini.

As a fan, I don't need a PC. Woody Johnson explained the plan going forward. When we have a new GM and/or coach, call a PC.

Can people just let Woody go out and get the right guys brought in to do the job. I really could care less if Woody or Rex say anything TILL they have something worth saying. The season just ended give him a little while to fix his mess!
