    Adrian Peterson.

Hands down. I wish he broke the rushing record. I was rooting for him.

For once a real battle for this award. Would have to go with Peterson though. both players played astonishingly well (and I looked like a genius for picking AP in my fantasy draft 28th overall.)

I'll go with Manning. What AP did was nothing short of miraculous, but some people thought Manning may never play again and he also went to a new team in a new division and had to lead it. He doesn't just run the ball like AP, he runs the offense and is a commander. It's a tough call but I think that Peyton going to a new team, getting everyone to buy-in to his style and leading them the #1 seed in the AFC is simply amazing!

Peterson technically never left, he was injured basically during the off season. Peyton Manning was hurt for an ENTIRE season.

    Co-MVP: Manning, Peterson
    Comeback: Manning
    OPY: Peterson

Peterson.... and it's not even close. He'd be the MVP in my book too. As Jason asserts in his article, QBs get by way too much on name. Peterson is the entire Vikings offense despite the league trying to boost passing. This article is a great read, I'd repost but it has tables that would look bad if I pasted them here.

    This.

AP's season is technically not even a comeback. AP should win MVP though.

I give Peterson the MVP, but Manning the Comback Player of the year.

AP came back from an ACL. Amazing yes, but not unheard of. Peyton missed a whole year with multiple neck surgeries and nerve damage in his throwing arm. No one has ever come back from that.

    This

Still can't believe half the people on this board wanted to pass on Peyton in favor of Sanchez.

I'd maybe go Rodgers over Manning..slightly better numbers and the Packers haven't had a 90 yard rusher all season.. and he had to deal with injuries to Jennings and Jordy. Hes the main reason they are 11-5 (should be 12-4).

    Peterson no question!

Manning went to a team that was in the playoffs last year. Peterson carried a garbage team into the playoffs with a sh!t QB.

I voted for Peterson because his stats were better for a RB than Manning's were for a QB. However, what both did was nothing short of phenomenal! If there was ever a year to have co-winners, this is it.

Manning- everyone thought he'd take 1 big hit & be done for good,35 TD's latter in the PO's and still going.
