Colts OC Arians has the flu, won't coach

These guys cannot catch a break! from espn:

Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians was taken to a hospital Sunday with the flu and will not be with the team for its wild-card playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Clyde Christensen, the Colts quarterback coach, will call plays.

Breer reported that the Doctors think it's an ear infection or a virus. Says Bruce is joking around and seems fine.

There is some nasty flu and other illness going around. I have a friend in NJ with their 1 yr old in the hospital for respitory stuff. Find out today if it's flu, bronchitis, pneumonia, etc.

My buddy who works at the hospital reports that they're seeing 4-5 times more severe flu cases this season over last. It's bad.

More likely due to overuse of antibiotics to cure everything from a sniffle to severe head trauma. These bugs have developed defenses against our medicines.

Maybe because of Hurricane Sandy if some people were without heat for an extended period of time, they could be more susceptible to colds now that the weather is colder than it was in October and November.
