    Mike Shanahan....

Playing RG III on that knee. The guy leveraged that franchise for years to trade for RG III.

And he rode him into the ground the last month or so.

On top of that, the skins had very little chance to win once he aggravated the already compromised knee in the first qtr.

Besides, it was obvious that he didn't have the normal RG III burst.

It's also obvious that Shanahan is just such a genius at football.

Ultimately RGIII has about as much say in whether he plays or not as you or I do.

i'm sorry, u don't sacrifice RG III's health and compromise the game if u have Kirk Cousins on the bench.

Play Cousins for one week and let RG III play the div round...

just dumb. the kid is a runner, u got to pull them when they hurt their legs. or u risk compounding the setbacks, or their careers.

    just dumb.

I total agree. It aint worth your franchise QB when he can't run anyway and Cousins is almost as good .

yup unless it's torn he's playing, he's got plenty of time to heal up before training camp. RGIII is not the kind of QB who just relies on his athleticism

There is a difference between being dinged up and injured. Especially with an injury that could lead to a much more severe injury.

The guy could barely walk, but he should have been playing.

All excellent points. If I was the owner, I would fire the coach and the team doctor should lose his license. And never mind the QB's health, do you want to win the game Mike? Why are head coaches so stupid lately?

RGIII is probably the most over rated player in the NFL. Just like Cam last year. They are simply lesser Mike Vicks. They will never achieve long time success in this league.

They (running QBs) are exciting to watch but simply cannot get it done consistently or stay healthy enough to ever be worth spending big money/picks on.

I know i'm gonna get flamed for this but its the truth.

    Bullsh*t

Griffen deserves every bit of praise that has come his way. He's basically everything Michael Vick wishes he was.

Dynamic as a runner but also very deadly from inside the pocket as well.

I still think Luck will be the better QB over the long run. But then again, he was always destined to.

As long as the injury doesn't linger, he'll be a part of the future Top 5 QB's of the league (Luck, Ryan, Wilson, etc) and be the face of DC for the next decade.
