Good choice. He led the Bears to a Super Bowl appearance and he was around Tampa Bay when they went from a laughing stock to a playoff team.

Jets will interview former Bears G.M. Jerry Angelo tomorrow for vacant GM job, per source.

Good. We need grown ups.
Everyone has a candidate they want no part of. Jerry Angelo is mine. He hasn't had a good draft in a decade and his whiffs are on Tannenbaum level, if not worse. I know many, many Bears fans, and not a one were sad to see him go.
STB for the meedjum.
Go Jets!
No no no no no no.... He's drafted 1 good player in the past 5 years, Forte. He's terrible.

He'll fit right in.Angelo was fired by the Bears on January 3, 2012. The reason for his firing was due to a combination of poor drafting and questionable free agent signings, with the team stating they wanted to "close a talent gap" to stay competitive with the rival Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions in the NFC North.

lol
He gave $8m guaranteed to Chester Taylor who promptly rushed for less than 300 yards, was released, and is now out of football.
Does Kraft own Korn Ferry ??![]()
Oh god no. Jerry angelo ran the bears into the ground.
Angelo was ranked as the eighth best general manager in professional sports in February 2007.
He has had success as a GM and coach. We could do a lot worse.
Couldn't see this getting any worse, and then it gets worse. How quitessential Jets
I would legitimately prefer re-hiring Bradway than Jerry Angelo. He's a nightmare scenario.
Korn and Ferry sets up 20 interviews. Now you have enough guys to compare good and bad and learn from their interviews. Now pick one.
Retreads are not big hires. There's a reason no one has interviewed him since he was fired.
