He was great last year in Foxboro and he's got Boldin and Rice. With those guys you don't have to be perfect.

Ravens are a tougher match up for Pats than the Texans.
The Ravens have a 'punchers chance' and came close last year, but of the two teams New England look to have improved more in the interim (can run the ball better and upgraded the safety position somewhat). I dearly hope to be proved wrong but I don't see Baltimore been able to keep up with the Pats hurry-up offense.

Falcons still don't impress me that much, not on a neutral field, which leaves the 49ers who I personally think would beat the Patriots with a degree of comfort but they have to get there first.

The Pats defense the ravens played earlier is not the same as now. Talib and Dennard and mccourty at safety has made everything different.

Flacco's intermediate game is hit and miss but when he flings over 20 yards good things happen for the Ravens. then we'll see what NE's revamped secondary is all about.

Overlooked story line from yesterday is the excellent play of the Ravens revamped OL. They have to do that again next week.

Hey Gary Kubiak -- the Texans milquetoast style reminds of the late 80's Broncos!
