Nice win over the Whalers tonight on the road.... 5 points out of a possible perfect six against the Penguins home and home and tonight again on the road

next week should be huge with games against the Leafs, Icelanders and Flyers

Knocking the Leafs out of the 6 spot and finishing there would be sweet. Would then get the SE Div. Champ as the 1st round opponent, as opposed to Pitt or one of Mtl. and Boston. The games tonight and Wednesday are huge. Maybe one of the new guys will get payback on Phaneuff...

    6 seed is everything.

I don't see how they beat Pitt in round 2 but who cares

Now is war time with the fishsticks. I think it will be a nasty type of game.

Just got back from watching the sensational Matt Harvey dominate and the Mets offense thump Strasburg and the bullpen...

    and when I got home

I found a present in the New York Rangers whupping of the Sabres on the road

four games remaining, Devils at MSG, Panthers in FL, Canes and Devils again

Appears that if we beat the DevilDogs today we can avoid Cindy and her Penguins in the first round

    GO RANGERS!!

    Edit.....

A win or OT...one point...gets the Blueshirts the seven seed and the sixth if Ott loses their last two in regulation..which isn't happening IMO

Four-zip with 14 minutes to go

Devildogs trying to goon it up in their usual classy manner

7 seed and the Broons unless Newark can get five unanswered in the final minutes including the next two down two men

Need a miracle to get the six seed

    yes

the Ottawa loss to the Flyers sealed up the 6 seed for the blueshirts and a matchup with the Capitals I think

Ottawa wins tonight, they get the seventh... if they lose, it goes to the Icelanders

Best result possible for the Rangers short of getting home ice advantage. Capitals are 3 seed as a resultof winning weakass division and have only 57 points one more than the Blueshirts. The fourth seed Bruins have 62.

That overtime was horrific. 16 shots allowed (not including 2 that hit the posts) in 15 minutes, not to mention numerous chances for Boston was borderline embarrassing.
