Maybe some of us want a QB whose ceiling isn't a guy with a career 82 passer rating? A QB who misses the playoffs 3 of 4 years in his prime and the other year sneaks in at a Sanchez 9-7

Glennon can't sniff Eli's jock either.

Nassib will be lucky to stay on a team at this point

Don't worry, Nassib has shown nothing this week to be considered a 1st rounder.

Have you watched Geno play this year? Top 10? Seriously?

Ryan was coached by NC States coach, the comparison to Ryan and Flacco are fair IMO.

But Glennon does not posses the skill of Ryan or Flacco and Flacco was also MUCH more highly thought of as a college senior.

We're not drafting a QB in the first round, unless it is Geno Smith.

So far the Manuel and Glennon look okay.

If Manuel has a safety valve in the offense he seems like he can be a decent system QB

...but he seriously needs to shave that porn-stache

Yeah, the guy who completed 71% of his throws and threw 41 TDs v. 6 INTs sure had an "awful" senior campaign. Reid won't pass on him I bet

The Jets have too many other needs to reach for a QB in round 1 , I do expect them to grab one of these guys in rds 2-4 though ( Wilson, Dysert, Nassib, Barkley)

Exactly. The fanbase would riot if we took a QB other than Smith at #9. I'd actually feel bad for the guy because he'd be getting booed his first INT

Kinda have to agree. A QB has to go top 10 and Smith will be it

Numbers never tell the story. This isn't baseball. He easily threw 3 games this year.

You know I have my reservations about Geno, but under our current OC I could see it work

His defense threw more games. Looking at his numbers, his one horrible game was against Kansas State.

And Nassib pulls another Sanchez-like turnover.

A system QB isn't always the worst thing. Ask Saints fans what they think of their offensive system for Brees

The QB in the system takes it over the top though, that shouldnt be ignored
