Ha, possibly in west Texas in the desert area.

Nothing like that happening here in central TX (Austin, San Antonio) or over in east TX (Houston, Beaumont) or even up in north TX (Dallas).

This is a big-ass state, so lots of weather and terrain variations.

Here's a photo from the Hill Country, taken in an area just west of Austin, where I live. So no tumbleweeds around here.

Okay, that concludes today's lesson in Texas topography.

    Haha...

I think Dallas has the largest suburban area I've ever seen... No tumbleweeds here.

Although I have driven west and there's some dry, barren, desolate **** out there...

I have a buddy who retired to Dripping Springs from NY who is always trying to get me to come out west for a visit. Being a big music fan, Austin has always been on my list.

    Gotta pull the trigger soon.

Walk Sixth Street at night when UT is in session. You'll have fun with the eye candy, but will never send your daughter there.
