    Matt Moore

the Jets can afford him and he easily beats out the Turnover Machine and might just be the starting QB for the Jets in 2014 and beyond

Forgive me, but what "Big Name QB" was or is available to start with?

You cannot bring in what does not exist.

And more, do we want a "Big Name" or a good QB prospect?

Tebow is a "Big Name" and we already have him.

Don;t we want a promising prospect, regardless of how "big" his name may or may not be?

Wait a second, didn't you say that turnover machine would lead the Jets to 3 or 4 Super Bowl titles?

Failchez sucks. Accept it, deal with it, and move on.

I agree. Bring in Moore, who desperately wants to start and this is clearly the best spot in the NFL for a QB who is looking for a starting job. Obviously not great, but given a chance in 2011 he played pretty well (played better than Sanchez with less around him). another bonus, he'll be cheap.

Matt Moore is being overrated on these forums. A stop gap to compete with Sanchez, sure why not. Anything more forget it.

I still want to know (since no one's even tried to answer) who the "Big Name" QB's are that are available, and why we want a "Big Name" rather than a developmental/potential/the future kind of guy at QB at this point?

I want a QB that can complete over 60% of his throws and not throw picks like they were going out of style.

    You're too picky.

I'll just settle for one who doesn't ButtFumble.

If the jets promise him not to draft a qb in the first 2 rounds this year, I think he would come in on a one year deal for 1 mill with incentives to compete against Sanchez.
Without that guarantee, i think the jets would get out bid by the cards, chiefs or eagles.

When we get rid of him in 2014, we'll call him Sanschez.

Whoever it is they will be someone who was a second or third strong Quarterback in 2012, OR they will be a rookie. There is no Michael Vick or anyone in that nature that's walking through the Florham Park facilities. Tarvaris Jackson and Matt Moore are the best veteran names that make sense financially and systematically.

The way some fans talk about the AFCCGs, you'd think Mark delivered both bowls already.
