Just had a VIP meet & greet with Joe Namath B****es!!!

My wife saw that ESPN was having a "Legends" event at the New York Athletic Club and got me a VIP ticket through our Citicard. Before the dinner, they had a small room with an open bar for about 20 Citi VIPs. Joe came in, shook everyone's hand and spent a while bullsh!tting with us.

Then they gave us each a football and we went up for autographs and a meet & greet. Joe could not have been nicer. He took time to talk to all of us individually. I even showed him the pic of me as a kid in my Jets gear and he said he loved my pants. The photographer said he wanted to take a quick picture and Joe said no. He wanted to talk some more. He was definitely genuine and you could tell he enjoyed being there.

After the VIP event event, we had dinner and Colin Cowherd interviewed him and did a great job. I caught such a good buzz that I started looking around to see if I could keesh Suzy Kobler.

Congrats, sounds like an awesome time. So....he was immediately drawn to the young Crossfires trousers, you say?

    AWESOME...I would love that.

Sad how so many of our young fans, and some older, simply dismiss the greatest JET ever.

    Good for you....

That's really cool, great story. I met Joe Klecko once and he was the same way -- very personable and friendly and totally indulgent towards a very excited Jets fan.

I've met Marty Lyons in Warwick as he used to do ads for a local Ford dealership. Big guy and polite. I'd love to meet Rex.

Great story! How do you know Suzy hadn't had a snootful and was looking around for that Crossfire kid?

Perhaps a quick glance at the trousers and the apparent smallness of my testicles helped him to realize what a great father I had become.

    THAT'S THE DAILY DOUBLE!

Your answer: "It's always cold in New ENgland, at least that's what I tell my wife when she needles me about my small testes"

    LOL, I love the x-pollination.

Can't say the same for the new smilies.

Cool experience for you, Cross. Congrats on that and having a wife cool and thoughtful enough to have made it happen.
