If we blissfully ignore the situation and next year at this time he is demanding money that just does not fit with what the organization can or is willing to do we will get dick all, perhaps a 3rd round comp pick the next year.
We are not keeping Revis. We're either trading him or letting him walk in a year. That was the deal Tanny made when he gave Revis this contract. Do you people really think Revis is going to give up a chance at free agency to sign a nice safe cap friendly deal. Then you don't know Revis. Revis is for some team that thinks a CB can win you a SB, or a team that's just happy with having a marquis name on their team. They're out there, Revis will happily sign an extension with them, and I'll happily take the picks.
Posted this in the other thread, too.Speaking to CSN Philly, a team source "didnít rule out" the Eagles making a run at Jets CB Darrelle Revis.
The Eagles have cap space to burn and a likely need at cornerback with both Nnamdi Asomugha and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie doubtful to be back in 2013. Revis-to-Philly makes sense on paper, but new coach Chip Kelly could be reluctant to sign off on trading draft picks as he hunts for players who fit his unique system. Revis is also likely interested in heading to a team that will compete in 2013, and there's no guarantee the Eagles will.

I hate "sources", and disagree that Revis wants to play for a contender.
He wants to play for an ATM.
