Give up a #1 draft pick in 2013 with the possibility of Revis being a one-year rental? That will never happen.

A trade will not occur with Revis unless there is a long-term contract in place with the money Revis agrees to.

Jan 28, 2013 – Falcons Projected To Have Four Compensatory Picks In 2013 NFL Draft.

the Falcons have a pick in each round for the first time since 2011, but at least one analyst is predicting that the Falcons will have four compensatory picks in April.

Yes, I know you can't trade Comp picks...

Turner’s release saves the team $6.4 million under the salary cap. Abraham saves the $5.75 million and Robinson saves $3.75 million. In all, the team got $15.9 million under the salary cap by releasing the three veterans.

    Dunta Robinson >> Chris Culliver.

Instant upgrade without having to give up picks.

Totally random: #Jets offered Abraham straight up for Schaub in '06. Got 29th pick from Atl instead, which they offered to SD for M. Turner.

#Jets were spurned by SD, so they used 29 to draft C Nick Mangold

Never knew that...Thankfully, SD said no..whew!

Shouldn't we keep in an eye on Dunta Robinson in case a Revis trade goes down? Or will he be out of our price range.....

and I think I already know the answer to my question LOL

Robinson is no better at this point at 31 and not playing well last year.

btw, Robinson's sudden availability wouldn't stop the niners from trying to acquire the best CB in the game.

Thankfully both said no. I can't stand Shaub. The guy is terrible with an awesome supporting cast and great offensive mind. Here, he'd be Favre's hear with Penny's arm, being coached by Schotty....

Lol with guys in other threads calling Abe "one of the best pass rushers of his generation", I'm surprised there haven't already been 20 threads on the strip calling for Abe.

I want nothing to do with him. You can't be the best at anything if you're not playing.
