Agreed that no one sounds like him, even though a number of great, talented guitarists seemingly dedicated their lives to doing so (Frank Marino, Robin Trower, Uli Jon Roth, among others). To my ears, only Uli can compare to the primal energy and at the same time effortless fluidity of Hendrix, as on this cut: (warning, Uli's "vocals" sound like a dying, asthmatic frog--solos at 1:25 and 3:40):

Letting people know they have penis breath is against the TOS.

Dont let people know they have penis breath.

The playing is so far beyond what anyone else was doing at the time and still sounds fresh today. No wonder people's minds were completely blown skyward when he burst on the scene.

I stand corrected. It will not happen again. I apologize for posting my accurate, but unwanted, observation, regarding the obnoxious , ''now dead, to me", member

Of course! However, mentioning such words as Tiananmen Square, democracy & Taiwan, could illicit a negative reaction from the friendly, local CCPP. (this would apply to cell phone, text messages only, where "filters", would direct the message, to one of 30k "watch dogs" located in Beijing. My friend had the pleasure, of a visit, from 2 secret police, from the Shanghai Security Bureau, after joking around, about Taiwan, in his text message's.)

Say your prayers, sizzle chest, if you ever decide to visit China. You will really appreciate your freedom in the good, old USA, that we Americans, tend to take for granted

Nanjing is a nice city - been there several times. The standard of living of most Chinese, has risen dramatically over the last 25 years, but at a price.Come live here for nine years. If you like a totalitarian regime, no ability to choose your leaders, no freedom of speech (if you question the the legitimacy of the CCP, you are dead meat), no rule of law, arbitrary incarceration, massive corruption, restrictions on where you would like to live legally (should I give you more "benefits" - I can) then this is the place for you!

I'm talking about text messages only, over the State owned telecommunication system. The "open" internet is much more difficult to micro-patrol. (especially a Jets forum) Objectionable web sites, blogs, etc, are just blocked by Beijing. No you tube, face book or twitter for me - all blocked by the CCP, unless you buy a VPN, to avoid the massive "Chinese fire wall"

when i was there there was a lot of internet blocked....especially porn.

Im not saying id love to live there and thats its better than america. all i was saying is that americans, who rarely ever travel (99%), have very misguided ideas about quality of life issues as if to say that only in the US do people live well when in reality there are tons of countries who have just as good of a quality of life and in many ways much better situations.

On the other hand, a country like china: americans think that they walk around with rags duct taped to their feet with ak47s in their backs and it just isnt like that at all. If you arent a political big mouth and you just want to raise a family and be happy, you can do that with ease

Really? Link? If so few Americans travel, then why are American travelers regarded as rude and ignorant in foreign countries? 1% would hardly seem like a large enough sample to get that opinion, and thats assuming the entire 1% is ruge and ignorant. If we assume half of American travelers are normal, and the other half rude and disrespectful, then that's even fewer American idiots abroad.

No link just my wisdom from personal experience.

you saying that americans have a reputation for being "rude and ignorant" only backs my premise.

I just pulled 99% out of the sky. You are overanalyzing........The bottom line is very few ever leave the US (except for the comfortable resorts in the bahamas or mexico). I work in a hick town where a lot of people have only been out of the county a few times in their lives and never left florida

you, and your defensive post, pretty much prove my point. thanks
