It's not about any other team. It's about rebuilding a broken foundation so that in time, other teams need to worry about matching up w/us (having faith in the organization to do that successfully is another thing altogether).

I'm not in the "trade-Revis-no-matter-what" camp. But there's a strong case to be made for it. It's awful that the stewards of the organization have let it deteriorate to the point where trading it's best player in his prime is potentially the only smart play. But that's where we are.
This. He gets it. Revis or no Revis we are not going anywhere near a SB anytime in the immediate future.

Revis is working out in Arizona, where his trainers send weekly medical updates to the Jets' medical personnel. The reports include everything from range-of-motion to overall strength. Barring a setback, he'll be ready for training camp in late July.

Any interested team will get these reports from the Jets...Those teams medical staffs, unlike the "medical experts" that post on JI, can, based on the reports and other cases/experiences similar to Revis, make a pretty good determination of his recovery.

    You're trying to be rational.

    FAIL.

    Nice response.
    Are you sure about that??

    49ers 80-89 9 playoff wins and 4 sb titles

90-99 8 playoff wins and 1 sb title

I come here in the off-season to read news and rumors and such, not to watch some geriatric assh*le get his jollies off by throwing in his little assh*le comments. God knows this worthless POS wouldn't say a peep if he was standing right in front of me.

We're all internet bullies, and nobody would act in real life the way they act online.

We have a thing in my unit. You write the guy's name on a board and a time, and you both show up and kick the **** out of each other short of permanent injury. After that you have a beer and you're buddies.

Can't do that here, but if you think about it the Pats fans who post here are the cousins you can't stand. They're still family.

    Hatfields and McCoys.

I'm going crazy making fun today too. Don't let them bother you, you're better than that.

i think the most interesting thing if they trade revis, will be if the jets use one of those picks on a qb. would they invest a late first on a qb, or use their own early second on one. would they go BAP regardless of position, or would they look to fill as many holes in their current roster as possible.

    We don't and won't.

The East is New England's until Brady retires, barring us finding a superstar QB of our own.

I don't want any of the QBs in this draft. Just draft BAP for this year. All the Jets can do, and it would be the best thing for the team.
