You can cry about how bad he's been all you want, and in some cases that is true, but that doesn't take away from the fact, there have been times, and in the playoffs, where he has been very good.

You Sanchez haters continue to miss the point.
You are 100% correct. This is his last chance however to overcome the last 2seasons. He has a new OC and hopefully they will get him some playmakers on offense. The bottomline however is he has to play better, or he may not even be the starter.

The statistics do not lie. Even after you discount drops and other excuses often cited in his defense, his numbers showed that he has been the most inaccurate passer in the league every year since he has been here. This is is not a business where you commit a decade to a prospect hoping that he will turn it around. Sanchez has had his 15 minutes of fame and his job this year is to provide us with a platform either directly or indirectly to a draft position where an impact player is available to us. That will be his last full measure of devotion to the Jets and one for which he will be well and truly overcompensated

He can help us to this draft position directly if he plays and maintains his putrid level of performance or indirectly if he is cut and the Jets have to play out 2013 at effectively 90% of the team cap.

I understand and appreciate your sticktoitiveness Ray but this one strikes me as a total write off and we need to move on and stop with the divisive debate.

Sign Garrard to the league minimum. If healthy and Sanchez sucks again Garrard can step in and start.

Who cares what he did 3 and 4 years ago.

In his last two years, Sanchez has been the worst starting QB in the NFL, and he continues to regress.

No player in the NFL has had more turnovers than Sanchez the last two years.

He's a complete bust as a NFL starting QB.
Who cares that the Pats won 3 tainted Super Bowls a decade ago.

They haven't won **** without cheating.

    Isn't this fun?

TX cares. It's the only thing he can hang his hat on..... Must be embarrassing for him to only have that.

thankfully we are not stuck to sanchez after 2013.. idzik will not make the same mistake MT did 4 years in a row.. He will have 1, probably 2 qbs to compete with Sanchez.. Even if they go with him to start, he will finally for once in his career be on a short leash.. wether its garrard, draft pick, whoever.. The fans will refuse to let Mark kill this team another season, and No one in management will care letting Sanchez rot on the bench where he belongs the last few months of his jets, possibly NFL career..
