Kahlesi is one bad ass bytch, eh?!

    Another good episode.

I haven't read the books. Would it be worth it to read after seeing the show?

God, I hate Cersei. Great, vindictive character but such a Catch U Next Tuesday.

she's one of the best characters in the show, Headly does a great job.

BTW, the Game of Thrones books are a trilogy? In regards to the TV show, in what book would the TV show be in now?

GoT is was the first book... The series is 'A Song of Ice and 'Fire'... We're on book 3 currently, I believe.

It's going to be a 7 book series. The author has written 5, with #6 supposedly due next year. He has managed to piss off readers more than once with such long gaps between books.

    Really? Book 3?

This is season 2 of the show, right?

I guess books one and two are quick reads...

Book three is the best book written so far, and it was reported that they will be splitting it up across this season and next season.

Probably to give Martin more time to drag his a$$ finishing the final two books. Don't hold your breath hoping we read Winds of Winter anytime in the near future.

A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin, consists of five published volumes:

    A Game of Thrones (1996)
    A Clash of Kings (1998)
    A Storm of Swords (2000)
    A Feast for Crows (2005)
    A Dance with Dragons (2011)

The remaining two novels are titled:

    The Winds of Winter
    A Dream of Spring

Martin's website gives an excerpt from The Winds of Winter.

It also says that HBO has renewed GoT for a 4th season.

Agreed on Book 3 -- fantastic book! So much happens, it would be great to have two seasons on it.

Yep, he took his sweet time writing Dance, but I'm hoping that the next two books don't take so long. Maybe the success of the show will make him work faster.

My biggest problem with Dance was that it was the other half of Feast, and in the afterword of Feast he said that it was all supposed to be one book but it got too big, so he split it in two... and that Dance would be published within a year.

Six years later, we got the other half of a book that was supposedly mostly written.

Word. I was just coming here to say that. I knew that was coming didn't know she spoke the language though that sweetened the pot.
