They would have a lot more cap room for Jennings if they traded Rodgers to the Jets.

    Just sayin'

People need to realize that FAs like Jennings are just not an option for the Jets this year.

    It's almost as if we're....rebuilding!

I have always felt Jennings was over rated. Last year Rodgers didn't even realize he was gone. He is an average WR that had ballooned stats because of a great QB. We are fine at WR I have confidence in Hill and Kerley.

Greg Jennings Finds a Tougher Market Than Expected

Just a few years ago, Greg Jennings was a legitimate contender for "top-five receiver in the NFL" honors and could have commanded quite the pretty penny on the open market.

Sadly for him, this isn't a few years ago. Now, he's dealing with the stigma of an "injury history" and a market that also has a number of talented receivers in it paired with a deep receiver class in the draft.

Jennings wants a big deal with a contender, but it's just not coming. Unless he finds a Vincent Jackson-type deal with a team struggling to find its way, he'll need to take a short-term deal or something worth a lot less money than he expected.

Jennings is vastly overrated as FA. First off, he is going to be 30 this year and has missed large chunks of the last two seasons due to injury and the Packers offense was still ranked at the top. He has also gone from one HOF QB to another. There is no indication that he would make an average QB look better. Sure, he would be an upgrade over what we have now, but its not like he would come in an turn things around for our offense like a Calvin Johnson or AJ Green could.

We need to find another young talented WR to pair with Kerley and Hill for the next 5-6 years and not a stop gap WR. We already have that in Holmes.

Would much rather spend that money and bring back Landry or bring in a passrusher like Dumerville.
