If you are visiting Tampa area, Southern Brewing is this beautiful Brew Pub /home brew store that is really worth a visit. In contrast, Cigar City Brewing in Tampa houses two rather ugly bars which serve beautiful beers including their Jai Alai IPA.

No luck on my end, I guess only 150 tix total, sold out in a couple minutes.
no, i actually hate those things. i'd be all over it if I was an out of stater who wanted to visit the brewery and didn't mind spending all day on line talking with other beer drinkers. But I'm into the fifteen minute in/out thing on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Always enjoy a good high life. A lot less on hand since the spare fridge went away.
I find myself buying something random everytime I go to the store lately. 21st amendment brewery have made my latest choices.

My Go To beers are Yeungling, Smithwicks and Harp. These are what I drink when pounding them down. Not too grassy. Malty but not heavy. Weekends mean lots of pints. I'll get more fancy when only drinking a couple.

    Bud Light

Used to drink a lot of Belgian, high gravity, and craft ale's but after a while it became unpalatable for me.

Now I just drink a ****ton of Boooolight.

Although, depending on the bar I'm at and my mood I'll drink Newcastle as an alternative.

Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, Killians, domestic stuff, microbrews...

But Yeungling...I never got the love. Can't do it.

I had forgotten to add Shiner Bock as one of my go to beers. I pretty much drink this all year round.

Yesterday, I saw that my distributor had sixes of Shiner FM 966 Farmhouse Ale. Never had it before, so was anxious to sample the brew. Well, I just opened one up and it was a complete, pleasant, surprise.

This "Spring time" ale is absolutely delicious. Crisp, with notes of flowers and banana. If it's around, this will be this Summer's go to beer.
