Well the browns are hot and heavy after Paul Kruger. If they get him chances are very good that he is available at 9.

They are moving to a 3-4 D. So they have no pass rushers. Even if they sign Kruger, they need one more pass rushers.

    Enter Jarvis Jones.

I think the browns will go with Jordan or Ansah.

Would LOVE to have him on this team

They have Jabaal Sheard, one of the better young passrushers in the league.

If they sign Kruger, I doubt they take another edge rusher at #6.

We had Pennington. One o the best QBs on franchise history.

I can't tell if you're being serious, but they targeted and drafted Kellen Clemens that year to replace Pennington . . .

Either way, he isn't going in the top 10.

Sorry for being behind the curve, but what happened to their 2 (41) pick?

Yeah I am not sure what he is talking about...we have all our draft picks this year.

The browns don't have a 2nd round pick - they exercised it in the supplemental draft:

    6 (38) Cardinals
7 Browns (exercised pick in Supplemental Draft)
    8 (39) Jets

They used it in the supplemental draft on Josh Gordon

I don't know who Dr. Craig Brigham is, but if he is indeed a reputable orthopedist in the NFL world, than I agree - I think his value shoots back up.

Now, the fact that a leading orthopedist has cleared Jones of any red flags in that area should have NFL teams looking ardently his way -- as if they weren't already. According to Dan Pompei of the National Football Post, Dr. Craig Brigham sent a report to NFL teams which said that a comprehensive medical evaluation showed "either a very mild incident of spinal cord concussion or merely a stinger that has long since resolved." Brigham also concluded that even if Jones was injured in the same area again, it would not be a career-ending concern by default.

Finally, Brigham cleared Jones to play "without restriction."
Of course, teams will likely still review his medical file very closely to confirm the diagnosis.

The Browns selected Gordon, not the Jets.

    Maybe I just misunderstood your post . . .

When KingP said "they don't have a 2 this year", he meant the browns, not the jets. We have our 2 - the browns don't have theirs.

Even if Jones makes it past the Browns at 6 the Bills at 8 worry me.
