With so many bigger needs I just can't see us taking a WR. At least on in the 1st 3 rounds. Also at this point a QB in the 1st 3 is a given. Dont care who it is at this point but all signs are we will take one. We haven't signed a new starter yet and dont have one on the roster. We have looked hard at all top 8 guys all of which look pretty good.

Substitute Hopkins for Patton and you have a deal.

Outside of Patton and Renfree, i love your draft.
I think Renfree will be available as an UDFA. Would take Quenterrus Smith in his place. Instead of Patton, i would take best available TE or O lineman.

I flip flopped quite a bit on that one actually. Really like both guys.

Patton reminds me a bit of Mike Wallace. Guy can definitely blow the top off a defense. Something we desperately need.

I like the picks but do you really think that SF gives up what amounts to 2 late 1sts without him being able to work out? That would be a great trade for the jets in July, In April that is too much.

Patton reminds me of Reggie Wayne, go back and look- I think you will agree.

Isn't that what Hill is supposed to be able to do? I think we gotta give him another season before we forget about him.

I wouldn't go WR early. I would prefer QB with your 2nd selection

I wanted to like this draft, but for owning 4 picks in the first 40, this isn't good enough. Warford? He is not a top of the 2nd talent. You're reaching on Reid, and Patton too.

OLB, OG, S, and WR is a good haul, i just don't like the players you've chosen.

How come Corey Lemonier isnt getting more attention as a possible OLB in the 3rd round range?? I know he didnt fully complete his combine drills, so a lot may depend on his pro day, but he seems like a possibility in the third or fourth.

I dont think we are getting 2 picks from SF, but if we did, I would personally go:

    1 - Jones/Ansah - OLB
    1b - Nassib - QB
    2 - Jonathan Cyprien - S
    2b - Dandre Hopkins - WR
    3 - Brian Winters - OG
    4 - Gillislee - RB
    5 - Ricky Wagner - OT
    6 - Peter Lalich - QB
    7 - Chris Pantale - TE

Ya I'm on board. I mentioned him once as a possibility if the Jets go in a direction in round 1. Think he's worth a look

I would prefer a Matt Scott over Renfree in the 6th but I hear that he might be a 3rd round pick based on his workouts which is hard for me to believe.

It is more then workouts. He was one of those guys with very little tape but looks good in what you do see. He has the kind of athleticism scouts love and is a down to earth kid by all accounts I've heard. Very raw but still his upside is just really high. He is kinda riding the Colin Kaepernick train right now.
