@ProFootballWkly: #Colts agree to terms with former #Cardinals CB Greg Toler, per @JimIrsay (and he would know).

  2. #182
@adbrandt: Usually, when Packers "reach out" on first day of free agency, it's to let players know they'll check back after big $$ is spent.

  3. #183
@AdamSchefter: More action in Indy... RT @mikerodak: Colts announce they have agreed in principle with former Patriots guard Donald Thomas.

Titans had interest in Dustin Keller, but quiet otherwise so far. Told he may have to be willing to take 1-yr deal to re-establish standing

Why not just offer him the same deal?

    Wow. Baltimore screwed up royally.

    No Kruger

    No Ellerbe

    No Boldin

Supposedly they wanted to reduce Boldin's salary to sign Ellerbe.

Yep. That Flacco contract has them walking a bit of a tight rope. Losing Ellerbe hurts. He is a very good young player. I also think they are saving money for Jones and Smith. Ozzy said after the SB that they were not going to overpay guys like they did after the 2000 SB just for the sake of keeping the team together. He said they have to continue to replenish via the draft.

Wallace got 5/65 from the Dolphins. They overpaid.

Coming off a SB win? The Jets and us fans can only hope to be so lucky in the near future.

@JasonLaCanfora: The Falcons and Broncos are among the teams putting out feelers to Richard Seymour. I expect more suitors to develop

  12. #192
@MoveTheSticks: Andy Reid sacrificed some accuracy for arm strength with Vick. Doing the opposite in KC with Alex Smith and Chase Daniel

Yes and no. I am sure he wanted to keep Ellerbe but the Ravens said they were not going to go overboard to keep the team together. They felt they made a lot of mistakes after the 2000 SB and that it hurt them for a few years. They will focus on the draft.

Hey, I hope they really enjoyed it.

Because it's looking like the only one they'll have for a long time.

    Ray Lewis - Out

    Boldin - Out

    Kruger - Out

    Ellerbe - Out

    Reed - Likely Out

    McKinnie - Likely Out

But on the upside, great move making a borderline Top 10 QB like Flacco the highest paid player in NFL history. LOL

Even though they're in cap hell, and lose everyone, The Ravens don't fire their GM

The Colts just went to town.
The Indianapolis Colts agreed to terms with five players: right tackle Gosder Cherilus, cornerback Greg Toler, linebacker Erik Walden, guard Donald Thomas and linebacker Sidbury.

It was monumentally stupid to let their QB play out the last year of his contract. I've never seen a player have that much leverage... seriously.

I mean win the Super Bowl with a historic statistical run and then become a UFA. Wow.

Media is having a circle-jerk over Phins today

Isn't this the same team that just lost Bush, Smith, and Fasano?

Hey they circle jerked over the Bills last year and the Eagles the year before that.

@RapSheet: Dannell Ellerbe's new deal with the #Dolphins worth $35M over 5 years, per source. Wowza.
