    +1

Isn't his father an Agent? If so, I'm wondering if Sapp is a client of his father?

Not sure if he is an agent or what, but it always seems Steiny befriends these mid to low level guys, never an established player or veteran.

Agreed..He kept propping up that WR last TC DeMarcus Ganaway...I stopped following him because his tweets came off like a 15 yr old girl, including the football knowledge.

Yeremiah Bell's Cardinals deal is a one-year, $905,000 contract, $610,000 of which is guaranteed, per source.

    Manish Mehta ‏@MMehtaNYDN
Darrelle Revis will not play out the 2013 season with the Jets and become an unrestricted free agent. That is not going to happen.

That doesn't sound like a lot. Was he not worth that to us?

What's he going to do - hold out and add 3 moderately-priced years onto his deal?

Mehta is an idiot. If he holds out he adds 3 years on his contract.

I took the post by MM as saying that the Jets would not allow him to walk.

Mehta's become Revis' agents mouthpiece. It's as simple as that.

I completely accept that it is a players game, **** the loyalty, take the $$$, but come on now.....

When was the last time an NFL player sat out a season because he didnt get paid? Im sure it has happened, but i cant recall when.

Sitting out would lower his overall value, i cant see the greedy bastid wanting to lose a nickel, forget millions.

Yes, me too. The Jets either trade him or sign him before camp.

I think that's the logical opinion and shared by most, but Mehta is stating it, as a reporter, as if he has some source.

I really can't stand that guy.

Possibly Sean Gilbert. Revis's uncle and advisor.

what team would pay revis what he wants if he sat out the last year of his contract? nobody wants to pay him now, he'd be a year older and be perceived as a potential locker room problem.
