    Bills Release Ryan Fitzpatrick

Well the Bills actually released him. Any doubt they take a QB at 8?

Are you talking about the prank call? LOL.

I'm actually a little surprised about this but the guy wasn't worth the contract and the Bills did the right move in cutting him. Unlike the Jets who could have gotten out of Holmes deal last offseason without a cap hit.

took a big cap hit too
jets should do the same with sanchez

    Bills released QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.
The move comes with a staggering $10 million-plus cap hit, but the Bills didn't see the point in moving forward with a player they had publicly lost faith in.

Per Rotoworld, Buffalo is taking a 10 Million dollar + cap hit just to get rid of him. Makes you wonder why the butt-fumbler is still around.

If we can land Daniel, my feeling is, he won't be. A cheap trade or an outright cut wouldn't shock me at all.

No, you take the hit because the guy showed he's not the answer at the position and keeping him around means you have the same problem every year until his contract expires.

    Cut bait. Start over.

Getting Chase Daniel and having Garrard can't be any worse than starting Sanchez.

    Can it?

no one in the roster(QB) is the answer, but you cut him now, and who ever you get would not be the answer either....next year you could cut him with no cap hit

I thought you were talking about Fitzpatrick. My bad.

They will have to trade up IMO. Really see the Eagles taking him if he is there. Barley or Glennon to the Bills? Knowing them they draft a 2nd rounder though. Lets face it QB has never been a high priority in the Bills organization.

This makes me sad however. I always liked saying hey it isn't every day you see a white boy from Harvard succeed in this world.
