You talk to Revis or did you hear voices?

Will every high priced signing bring a million, "this is where Revis will start" type threads? As if anyone knows....

LOL. Reports say Revis has been looking for a 16M per, 100M+ type contract that will top Mario Williams and make him the highest paid defensive player in football.

And you think Percy Harvin getting 11M per year will set the market? The Jets would sign that contract in Chris Johnson's forty time.

Well said sir....that's a bargain. Kudos to Pete Carrol and company.

To me Harvin and Holmes are like mirror images. Why anyone would make that kind of deal amazes me.

Vikings got a first round pick (25), a 7th round pick in 2013 and a conditional pick in 2014

Only $14.5 milion is guaranteed (I believe)

Not quite. That would be a bargain for revis (he can probably expect a minimum of about 12.5 per year as a free agent, and there's always the chance an owner with money to burn and looking to make a splash will give him Mario Williams money). But for a WR, it's absolutely not a bargain. It's more money and a higher average than Vincent Jackson and Dwayne Bowe got - though its not overpaying by as much as Miami did for Wallace.
