Maybe, just maybe if he were wearing a Jets hat, he might just be a little easier to spot in public.

These guys want some privacy too

It is different. Brady doesn't play for the Red Sox.

That's a fair point but it's not really analogous here. If Revis was wearing a braves hat, no one would care. But wearing the hat of another team in your sport that you don't play for is like endorsing that team (not in the traditional sense of endorsements). You simply don't endorse your competitors.

There's also the fact that the Yankees hat has become the "default" hat for pretty much everyone to wear, so that kinda gives brady some more slack there. Just think about if Brady was wearing a Miami Dolphins hat...you know you wouldn't like that ish.

    Forget the hat.

I guarantee you that this time last year Adrian Peterson was rehabbing. Nuff said.

    P.S. He looks chunky

    I'm sad that he's going, he's awesome.

    It's time, though.

FANS are nuts. Revis, just like Keyshawn, are/were the best players on the team and will end up in Tampa Bay! Those guys play 100% and are more competitive than anyone. I'm sure all you knuckle heads would take less money to stay put on your job!

There are literally thousands of cool, trendy, functional hats a player can wear without wearing one from a rival team or a team your fans detest from another sport.

While this maybe true....the only people that get riled up about things like this are fans. Players don't give a $h!t about things like this. They realize that this is a business and they don't hold any allegiances to their teams other than playing hard on Sunday, and collecting a check from their employer.....

I don't think Darelle Revis is interested in privacy if his personal manager is tweeting pictures of him shopping in Paris ...

Brady plays football. Last I looked, the Yankees play a different alleged sport. I don't see Brady wearing a Saints hat in public. Big difference.

Yeah, you just made my point for me. The fans care the players don't give a ****. It's a problem for me.

The same guy that acts pouty when the Jets haven't fallen all over to contact him before the year wears another teams hat. As a player, just out of courtesy you should have the brains to think. "I will actually be sensitive to the fans and the team I play for." Instead of "I'm on my own time I could care less about the fans or the team."

Lets look at a group of sports fans. The people that cheer for the New england Patriots. They are also baseball fans, that love the Sox and HATE the yankees. Same thing the other way around, a Jet wearing a red sox hat is just dumb and insensitive. there are hundreds of hats to wear that are not the hat of a rival team. It's stupid and out of touch.

Not gonna try and make this into huge news, but when I saw Manish's tweet about Revis being in Paris and then saw the pic I was pretty surprised to see that he was sporting that thing, especially since he's supposedly been in the dark with teams lately.

Plus it's not exactly like they sell NFL memorabilia on every street corner in Europe lol.

You can on this if you want, but I found it interesting enough.
