    Call me crazy, but i like this deal. Sure he whiffed on a few blocks, but i liked his contributions right from the get go.

    You typically rely more on your FB as a receiver than a lead blocker in this system. And Lex showed some pretty good hands.

    That's the thing about getting a new GM -- he's a "genius" until proven otherwise.

    For now I'll assume Idzik objectively saw something that made this signing a wise business/football decision that moves us one step closer to being a complete, competitive football team.

    Despite some critisizm and subpar play, I think for a midseason aquisition he did fairly well. As already said he is a pretty good fit for the WCO where we really do not need a battering ram as a FB...

    plus, he looked decent last year because John Conner sucked, ever so badly. A 3 yard reception, and us fans were glad to annoint him the replacement.

    By no means a key piece of the puzzle but he was functional and did some good things. Worthy of a resign.

    I like the moves being made by this team.. I want to see 2 more moves before the draft and i will be cautiously optomistic about the 2013 NYJet season.

    I thought Hilliard played pretty well for us last year. Certainly a huge improvement over his predecessor. Glad to have him back for another year.

    SAR sent me a copy of the 2002 Division-winning, Green Bay game where Richie Anderson and Wayne Chrebet tore holes in the Green Bay defense. If Lex can give us some of that Richie Anderson magic...
