Damn. Played well as a Jet, would have liked him back.

I'll take Adrian Wilson to complete the swap, though.

Interesting that they replaced Kerry Rhodes with Yeremiah Bell.

Assuming the market for Pollard doesn't get crazy, IMO it would be a failure if we don't sign him now.

He's not coming here. No one with Pollard's value wants to play for our decimated team.

Players go where the money is. And believe they are part of the solution.

Normally, I would agree with you, JN. But with a lame duck HC, as well as a gutting of both our offense and defense, I just don't see it in this case.

Hope I'm wrong, as I would welcome Pollard here with open arms and, yes, manly kisses of respectful affection.

I think a lot depends on the situation too...
Pollard coming off a SB.....maybe plays for a team that pays him fair, and whispers sweet nothings in his ear....

Then there is Revis, who if allowed, would be whored out to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers if the price is right...

Id be SOOOO happy with Pollard.

I wantyed to keep this guy more than i wanted to keep Landry. With Pollard and Wilson on the market, i would prefer going that way provided the money is short. We need a Veteran SS to play alongside Josh Bush at FS.

I am liking the way the Jets are coming together in my head.

    Yes and no.

It seems we have no safeties but it's not like Bell was lights out or a long term solution.

He was a servicable vet who is getting older and slower.

I'd rather give Bush some PT, see what the young guy can do.

thankfully the season doesn't start tomorrow

wonder if the Jets will make a run to bring Kerry Rhodes back? Adrian Wilson available too. There are a bunch of stop gaps we could get on affordable money if the Jets want to go that way.
