Pollard or Adrian Wilson would be nice additions, if the price is right.

One of those guys at SS, then find a rookie to pay FS or hope one of Bush or Allen step up.

The only one above that is somewhat complete is Huff, and his play has declined from what it was - and that wasn't very high.
M huff had his best season in 2010 at FS. The last two years due to massive injuries at Cb ,(took one for the team) he has played out of position at Cb for the Raiders. So I don't know if you can say his play has declined the last couple of years when he hasn't played his natural position.

I don't worry about safeties that can cover b.c as far as I am concerned nobody can cover Gronk or Hernandez.

So, if you can't cover them, you must break them.

    POLLARD OR BUST!!!!!

There is not one player that is gone yet that should come as a surprise to any Jet fan here. We all knew this was coming. Keller and Revis are next. Lets hope Idzik is as good as Billy Bean.

I would be willing to take a look at Mike Huff or Kenny Phillips at this point.

    Coples - Ellis - Wilkerson

    Victor Butler - Davis - Harris - (Mingo/Jordan/Jones)

    Cro - Kenny Phillips - Bush/Allen - Wilson

I think that is a better group than what we lined up at the end of the 2012 season.

Next year the Jets could have a bottom 5 defense to go along with their bottom 5 offense.

Have always liked Michael Huff. He landed in a pretty crappy situation, and was constantly being moved around from SS to FS to CB.

As a pure FS, if the money is right, he could be a very nice addition.

Play nice, and stop mocking the afflicted.

Aren't you gonna defend Rex now? Here's a great opportunity to justify wh great D players like Rex.

Come on... tell us all what $hitty fans we are. You know, we did go to 2 AFC Champ games in a row.

Agreed. I like Keller though. What is happening now is the result of poor management for the last 5 years. REX and Tanny behaving like children in a toy store. You actually see his childish behavior when they extended his contract on Hard Knocks.

Hard pressed to find good teams lose as many players as we are right now.

    Good non-move by Idzy.

Landry is a like a second hand abused Porsche. In the left lane it'll wow you, but at any time it could wind up in daddy's garage for a year.

    That's a lot of cash.

He played well here and I really liked him as a Jet, he fit in so well... but they can't afford that contract.

    Good for him though.

I don't think it would be smart to sign Pollard, as much as I like him. This is a rebuild year, so let's see if Bush and Allen can play. Or draft someone else... DJ Swearinger in 4th?

Wow. Gotta tip my hat to Landry for that one. Class act

    @Steiny31
Per source, Landry really wanted to remain a #Jet. After Indy offered him the deal, he brought it back to Idzik to see if he could match it.

Thank you, Landry for your time here. I'll be rooting for you in Indy.

Dope... LaRon is a true man for that one. I can understand why we couldn't pay him that much.

You're right...It's all Rex' fault these "sh1tty" Jets players are getting big deals from other teams

It's Rex' fault the Jets are in a tough spot with the Cap

    It's Rex' fault Sanchez sucks

    It's Rex' fault you're a dumbass

After reading this it hurts a little to see him go. But it is still the right decision by Idzik... good luck to Smash and hopefully his injury issues are behind him for good...

Actually it will be the Cheatriots defense that will be bottom 5. As usual.
