    Jets re-sign fullback Lex Hilliard

The Jets have re-signed fullback Lex Hilliard on a 1-year contract, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed. The person requested anonymity because the Jets have not made the move official.

The news was first reported by Pro Football Talk.

Hilliard came to the team as a replacement for the injured John Conner in October and finished the season with eight carries for 31 yards. Hilliard was also a strong presence on special teams

You're right, we do need two boards, but you would belong to 2nd board for the clueless.

I wish you the best in finding a new football team to root for. Consider the climate in Miami or the historic landmarks in New England. Good luck.

Dont care. Its not like Hilliard is a pro bowler. The whole point is HE is our biggest signing so far. I think an O-Line signing may have come first, maybe a2nd tier LB even, not a fullback, no matter who he is.

Happy now? Or is it too late because it didn't happen within the opening 24 hours of FA?

BTW--The Jets have a game this weekend? This month? 3 months from now?

Jets hosting Antwan Barnes on Thursday

Idzik is not responsible for the last 45 years. That is an SOJF mentality; "we can't draft player X in round 1 because 25 years ago we drafted player Y from the same college".

Idzik is responsible for this team, right now. He should be judged going forward on the team he inherited and what he did from that point.

Your 45 years is a sob story and is part of the SOJF mentality that plagues this fan base.

So yeah, we lost Landry. It sucks, move on.

since when do we start 3 safeties?
