With the 9th pick in the 2013 draft the NY Jets take.....

Montee Ball , RB Wisconsin!...We have to go offense this yr in the first round. I know we have lots of holes to fill and trading down may be a good option too. But if he's sitting there at 9 I want him. We clearly need a RB with just Powell and Mcknight in the backfield.

Second rd I hope we can replace Brandon Moore with a solid guard. Maybe either Warnack or Kyle Long.

What you guys think? Lacy is another option at RB but he may be gone by #9 since he's on a lot of guys lists as #1 RB

Welcome to 2013... you must be following the futures mock for 2013 that was released last year after the draft.

I am a strong believed in the top 10 you take eighter : top qb....top front 7 guy...or a crazy athlete soring up the draft board.Otherwise trade down.I expect Tank to rise as he is a monster athlete in the front 7 and compares to D WARE from Dallas olb.

Here is my grades for front 7 people : 1) Ansah 2) Dion Jordan 3) Tank Carradine.I believe the first 2 will be gone and we take Carradine. It's not that I dislike J Jones,I believe he's a one trick pony who can be destroyed by strong ots and he's no existant in the run support and is washed out a lot of the game.

Round 1 depends on the Revis situation. If he's staying - OLB is the way. Jordan Jones or Mingo are fits.
If Revis is gone (for a second rounder), a CB works in the first- Millner, Rhodes, Trufant (he may be an early second possibility). Millner is a serious choice.
Then an OLB with a second rounder - Okefor from Texas is a fit.
Round 2 (the Revis pick) & 3 - RT and G in whatever order.

3 players to avoid at number 9: Mingo,Jarvis Jones,Werner.I believe Mingo is a very overrated and I am not touching him before the 3rd round. The best Lsu defender was Minter...the rest were all a sum of parts on the Lsu dline.Mattiu will be a bigger impact guy. Werner is not quick, and I don't like his arm length and size.Plus like I mentioned Jones gets overpowered and will be similar to Gholston at the next level plus injury worries.

Jarvis jones if he is there. There are a lot of ways we could go, we have holes everywhere.
