Thread: I Was Mad At Woody For Keeping Rex, I Get It Now

imagine the jets go on to win 8-9 games and rex is retained.

seriously SAR, what would you do if rex is still coach here next year?

Woody would not have kept Rex around if he didn't think he was the best man for the job even after coming out of an overhaul for the team. I'm interested in seeing what Rex can build from the ground up. His father did a pretty damn good job building the Eagles roster back in the day. My hope is that Rex is just like his Dad in these circumstances.

Yes...God knows Woody has a strong history of hiring the BEST man for the job.

    C'mon Maine....you're smarter than that.

Ah, the resident troll is back to his old boring tricks.

Two years without an original or new thought.

You have no clue. How many Super Bowls did the Eagles win?

He can't be allowed to post this kind of stuff without repercussions, right?

    That is out of bounds.

And my post was probably one of 20 before you called mine out, why do I get the whip?

I used to hate Woody for holding onto Rex during the rebuild. Now I think it's the most cool, badass move he ever pulled. Rex can't win 4 games with this group, he's an outcast in the building, his loyal players and lieutenants are gone, he's been reduced to a silenced loudmouth.

Might as well let him ride the plane down, next year the new HC escapes the growing pains and gets a fresh start.

    Loving it.

You should know what that's like, but what is it that you're punishing yourself for? Why do you insist on humiliating yourself here everyday?

SAR is a long time instigator; you have to read between the lines to get his humor. You don't even TRY (to understand;to laugh at the absurdity; to even allow an opposing point of view in your mind) and go for the easy Whack a Mole; "look everybody - SAR is f***ed up!".

    Seems redundant.

See? Look here, RayRay...this guy owns shotguns, and he's mellow.

    Ain't you mellow, Apache?

Don't you ever pay attention? Rex lost a lot of weight. If you're going to manufacture a picture at least make one that resembles what Rex looks like.
